This song is utterly fantastic. It is fun, unique, memorable, and an amazing addition to this year’s lineup. Take note, folks, this is how you make a Eurovision entry. Now, there is not a chance that this song will win, but I am soooooo happy it is here!
Navi is super adorable. Both the singers are energetic and happy and they look like they are having fun together. I hope they are able to bring some energy to the stage and a mess from start to finish. I have no idea what the song is about, but I honestly don’t care!
Historically, Belarus has served up some of my favorite entries, though they seem to do so one year out of 5. I have not enjoyed a Belarussian song so much since My Galileo, which remains one of my all time Eurovision favorites. And in this year’s sea of noise, this energetic, vibrant number will be a welcome respite! This is also a good example of a song that should not be in English – I suspect if they were to try to play it in English I would quickly start to loathe it, but in Belarussian, it works so very well!
I don’t know what to expect, but if Navi stays true to its song and to each other, they will connect with the audience and should manage to qualify for the final.
