Finally, a song I can get behind. I am still disappointed that Serbia has abandoned singing in Serbian, but still, this is song it’s hard to hate. The music is fun, the singing is on point, and the potential for staging is strong. I haven’t been this excited about a Serbian song in a long time!
The video, of course, is a little disjointed, and the lyrics are a bit fluffy, but the song is, on the whole, fun and will stand out nicely amid the slower, more somber songs from this year’s crop. And Tijana, as a Eurovision veteran, will have enough stage presence and power to sell the song on the big night.
I really hope that they go all out on the staging and at least have Tijana sit in her wheel-swing thing. That could draw some ooh’s and ahh’s from the crowd. And while I do not think this song will be on anyone’s top 10 Eurovision songs of all time list, it certainly has enough strength to pass many of the year’s weaker entries. Serbia typically does well anyway and I can definitely see them finishing in the top 15.
